SAFETY
ACS Logistics is highly committed to safety and has several WHS systems in place; from employee induction processes through to regular refresher training in forklift safety, manual handling, safety awareness and evacuation readiness.
ACS SAFETY COMMITMENT
ACS has a reporting system in place for all employees that flow through to the customer's site. These include hazard reports, incident reports and identification - where statistics are logged and updated. We have a WHS committee of trained accredited members who conduct monthly safety meetings. All minutes are documented and passed on to our employees.
We at ACS pride ourselves on safety and our LTI/MTI statistics of 500+ days free of incidents is testament to that. All staff at ACS are provided with the correct personal protective equipment prior to job site entry. They must also sign off on all company safety SOPs and procedures.
At ACS we commit to the following safety rules:
- Never operate unsafe equipment, or remove or tamper with any machinery safeguards
- Obey and follow all site safety signage, including any requirements for wearing personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Only perform work for which we are trained and authorised
- Never operate any mobile plant (MHE) unless holding a current, valid license and with the authorisation to use that item
